Best Quadcopter - DJI Phantom 2 Vision Review

If you’re an avid drone flyer then eventually you’re going to want to get the best quadcopter possible and there is none better than DJI Phantom 2 Vision. This drone comes with everything you could ever ask for and more. If you’re still a beginner or intermediate then I recommend to stick with cheaper drones for now but once you consider yourself somewhat of an expert then it’s definitely time to take the leap and go with the DJI Phantom 2 Vision. Flying this drone is a lot of fun and if you’re thinking of getting one for yourself then you should continue on and read my review.

Review of the Best Quadcopter

When most people buy a drone they do so because they want to record video footage or take pictures from really high up in the air. With a drone like the DJI Phantom 2 Vision you will be able to take extremely high quality aerial photography thanks to the integrated 14MP camera with 1080p HD video recording. The video will even resemble that of cinema quality because of the gimbal with integrated camera tilt. This is why you will see this magnificent drone all the time at big events such as concerts because of how smooth and HD the video footage is.

With the Vision App you will be able to record and control your Phantom 2 from either your iOS or Android device. The included Wi-Fi extender will allow you to do so for a maximum distance of 980 feet away. This is extremely cool and makes flying more fun than ever. You can even take your recorded video and upload it straight to a platform like YouTube or social media for all your friends and family to see. Add some music in the background with your favorite video editor and you will have a cool video that everyone will enjoy.

Most quadcopters on the market today simply don’t have a long enough flight time and this leaves you having to charge your drone over and over for a day of flying. Luckily the DJI Phantom 2 has a high powered 5,200-mAh lithium polymer LiPo battery that will give you around 25 minutes of flight time. It does take around one and a half hours to charge though but since the battery lasts so long this isn’t a big issue.

This amazing drone also has a few cool features that just sets it way above the rest. The first feature I would like to mention is the new compass that helps the gps system work much more efficiently. The gps allows you to have the best return to home feature out of any drone on the market today. If you simply lose track of your Phantom 2 or go out of range it will fly straight back to its starting point with insane precision. I’ve used countless amounts of quadcopters but none do this feature as well as this one. You even have a no fly zone feature that will let you know where you can’t fly such as areas around an airport. This is just insane technology for a drone and with all these features it’s easy to see why this is the best quadcopter out today.

Review of the Parrot AR. Drone 2.0

After flying drones for many years now I finally got to lay my hands on the Parrot AR. Drone 2.0 and I have to say I’m not disappointed at all. This is one of the best quadcopters on the market today and while I only had it for a week I’m already saving up to buy my own. This drone is a lot of fun and has some pretty cool features that makes it stand above your average quadcopter on the market today. So let’s get to what you came here for and that is the review of this amazing drone.

Parrot AR. Drone 2.0 Review

So let’s get straight to what makes this quad copter so cool and that is the AR. FreeFlight 2.0 app that you can get for free on the App Store or Android Market. This app allows you to use your smart phone or tablet to control the drone by simply tilting the screen. This that makes this one of the most fun drones to fly and it definitely has a feel unlike any other. With the Absolute Control mode you will be able to switch levels from beginner to expert depending on your flying skill. This is extremely useful when you first buy this drone and are still getting the hang of things.

You can even record the videos you take and share them directly from the app to either a video platform like YouTube or even to your social media accounts for your friends and family to see. You can even unlock achievements which makes flying this drone a lot like a game which will definitely make it even more fun for kids. The camera that comes this drone is a HD camera with 720p video at 30 fps which is really good. This definitely makes it one of the best drones with cameras on the market today.

A lot of people worry that because of the price that if it breaks they are out of luck but this is not true. Any part the on this drone can be easily replaced and every single part is available on the Parrot website. Also the way this quadcopter was built makes it extremely resistant to damage so don’t be afraid to try all the crazy tricks you can think of. The body itself has an extremely robust structure that allows it to absorb the impact of crashes and the fact that is made out of foam makes it so the mechanical parts are less likely to take damage when you do happen to crash. Overall this is a really high quality quadcopter that will be sure to serve you well for a long time. I definitely recommend the Parrot AR. Drone 2.0 to any avid flyer out there who wants to improve their collection.

Review of the Syma X4

Drones are relatively new and are gaining popularity extremely fast thanks to the media attention. But not all drones are equipped with machine guns and only used for military spying purposes. RC drones that can be bought by the public are also known as quadcopters, these quad rotor flying machines are extremely fun to fly and surprisingly relatively cheap as well. If you are new to flying quadcopters then I would recommend to start off with a mini drone such as the Syma X4. A quad like this will give you good experience in flying and allow you to decide if you want to move on to bigger and better drones.

Syma X4 Review

The Syma X4 is one of the most popular mini quadcopters on the market today and for good reason. At a price range of around $30 you can have a mini drone that can be flown both indoors and outdoors up to a distance of about 40 meters. What makes the Syma X4 so much fun is its ability to do 3-D flips with ease. This little guy can literally twist and turn any way imaginable and does so like a professional drone. Compared to most mini quadcopters this model has a long control distance and strong anti-interference which allows you to fly around other drones as well without being interrupted by their radio signal. I have flown many quadcopters in my day but very few are as fun as this one and with the high powered lipo battery you can fly for up to six minutes which is pretty good for a mini drone.

If you are looking to get into flying quadcopters then the Syma X4 is definitely a good place to start. I would recommend flying in an open area to begin with to allow you to practice and avoid crashing. If you do happen to like this drone then stick around to wait to see what models I recommend next if you ever decide to upgrade.
