Review of the Syma X4

Drones are relatively new and are gaining popularity extremely fast thanks to the media attention. But not all drones are equipped with machine guns and only used for military spying purposes. RC drones that can be bought by the public are also known as quadcopters, these quad rotor flying machines are extremely fun to fly and surprisingly relatively cheap as well. If you are new to flying quadcopters then I would recommend to start off with a mini drone such as the Syma X4. A quad like this will give you good experience in flying and allow you to decide if you want to move on to bigger and better drones.

Syma X4 Review

The Syma X4 is one of the most popular mini quadcopters on the market today and for good reason. At a price range of around $30 you can have a mini drone that can be flown both indoors and outdoors up to a distance of about 40 meters. What makes the Syma X4 so much fun is its ability to do 3-D flips with ease. This little guy can literally twist and turn any way imaginable and does so like a professional drone. Compared to most mini quadcopters this model has a long control distance and strong anti-interference which allows you to fly around other drones as well without being interrupted by their radio signal. I have flown many quadcopters in my day but very few are as fun as this one and with the high powered lipo battery you can fly for up to six minutes which is pretty good for a mini drone.

If you are looking to get into flying quadcopters then the Syma X4 is definitely a good place to start. I would recommend flying in an open area to begin with to allow you to practice and avoid crashing. If you do happen to like this drone then stick around to wait to see what models I recommend next if you ever decide to upgrade.
